Special L.I.N.K.S. offers a variety of developmental therapy services including physical, occupational, speech and vision therapy. We also offer music therapy, art, dance, self help skills, warm water therapy, and independence skills. Special LINKS is taught by a wonderful and dedicated staff of teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists and administrative personnel, with JoAnna Dean (co-founder) as the Special Education Teacher.

Ms. Dean's class also goes to gymnastics once a week. Again, they ride the RTD and use their community and safety skills to get to the gymnastics academy. Aside from having a great time, the gross motor and sensory activities the students participate in while learning gymnastics serves as a way to achieve each child's Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. Most importantly, gymnastics is an age appropriate activity that they get to be involved in that most likely they would not have the opportunity to go to outside of school. It is an activity that typical peers can relate to and gives the students a common interest and bond.
